Do you see patients in person or online?

I work in person, and prefer to see patients this way. That said, I am available to meet through video conferencing if necessary or preferred.

Do you accept insurance?

My practice is not in-network with commercial insurance carriers. I will provide you with a monthly invoice (“superbill”) with the information necessary to request reimbursement from your insurance provider. 

What is your fee?

Please reach out to me directly to discuss current rates. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spaces for those in need of financial flexibility.

How much will insurance companies reimburse for out of network care?

I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly and asking for their reimbursement rates for out-of-network Psychiatrists (MD) for the following codes: 99214, 99213, 90836, 90833. Some patients have reported success using third party systems like Reimbursify to obtain the best possible reimbursement.

Do you work with kids?

No, although in some instances I do work with mature teenagers aged 16 and older.
